BetterYou Magnesium Flakes Relax is a transdermal magnesium product designed to be dissolved in a bath or footbath. Each 750g bag contains 90g of elemental magnesium in the form of magnesium chloride hexahydrate, combined with a calming blend of rose geranium and bergamot essential oils. This product is produced in the United Kingdom by BetterYou, a brand specialising in alternative delivery formats for key minerals.

The flakes are formulated for external use only. Magnesium chloride hexahydrate is a naturally derived mineral salt that dissolves readily in warm water. The added rose geranium and bergamot peel oils contribute a botanical fragrance to the bathing experience. BetterYou has formulated this product without parabens, synthetic colours and fragrances, preservatives, or palm oil and palm oil derivatives.

Each 750g bag provides approximately three full baths at the recommended serving of 250g per bath, or up to five footbaths at 150g per use. The product is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Ingredients

Magnesium chloride hexahydrate flakes, pelargonium roseum (rose geranium) leaf oil, citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot) peel oil, citronellol, limonene, linalool, geraniol.

Usage & Dosage

Bath: Add 250g Magnesium Relax Flakes (roughly 2 cups) per bath. Lie back and relax for 20 minutes. Increase amount for a more intensive experience. Footbath: Add 150g Magnesium Relax Flakes (roughly 1 cup) to approx. 5 litres of water, enough to cover feet. Sit and relax for 20 minutes. Recommended frequency: 2–3 times per week.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on damaged or broken skin. Supplements should not replace a balanced diet or healthy lifestyle. On initial application, you may experience a slight tingling sensation; this is safe and will pass with regular use. Consult a healthcare professional before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Storage

Magnesium Flakes are very hygroscopic and will quickly absorb moisture if left opened. Store in a dry place and quickly reseal opened bags. Use within 12 months of opening.
