Diatomaceous earth – E 551: silicon dioxide for food use. Source: 100% amorphous diatomaceous earth of freshwater origin (Fossil Shell Flour – FSF), silicon dioxide ≥92% SiO₂. Natural product of natural origin. Contains no additives.
Usage & Dosage
Shake & Drink: Add one measuring scoop (3 g) to a glass of drink, smoothie, or yogurt and stir. Diatoms as silica are insoluble but will form a suspension to be consumed. To enrich dishes and baked goods, add 1% Diatomit Food to the mixture.
Adults: Begin with 1 scoop (3 g) per day dissolved in a glass of water and gradually increase the daily portion up to a maximum of 15 g per day (5 scoops). Observe your body’s reaction. Drink at least 2 litres of water per day.
Children (from 12 years): The daily serving is half that of adults (maximum 7.5 g per day).
Not recommended for children under 12 years of age, breastfeeding mothers, or pregnant women.
Warnings
Diatomaceous earth is a dusty mineral with desiccating properties. Avoid prolonged inhalation of high concentrations of the dispersed product, as it may cause irritation of the respiratory tract. Do not allow the product to get into the eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with large amounts of lukewarm water. A dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.
